Antique Car Show at Sully June 16, Admission fee of $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $6 per child Take your dad out to the 40th annual Father’s Day Antique Car Show at Sully Historic site in Chantilly! Up to 400 antique cars are displayed on this historic site, along with tours of the Historic House, music, food, a kid’s tent, flea market, and cars on sale! Father's Day Tours of Carlyle House June 16, 12-4pm, free for dads, $5 for other adults, $3 for kids If your father or grandfather is a history buff, the Carlyle House is the perfect place to spend Father’s Day! The Carlyle House is pleased to offer free tours on Father’s Day for all fathers and grandfathers. The Carlyle House, one of the oldest homes in Alexandria, served as General Braddock’s headquarters during the French and Indian War, and is a great destination this Father’s Day! Father's Day at Gunston Hall June 16, 9:30am-4:30pm, fathers and grandfathers are admitted free, other adults $10, seniors $8, kids $6 This Father’s Day, visit the historic mansion of Gunston Hall! You’ll see the place George Mason lived in, and hear from tour guides the many roles George Mason played in his life, from legendary patriot to widower parent of nine children. Gunston is a great place to take a father with a love of history. Taste of Reston June 14, 3-11 pm and June 15, 12pm-11pm, free admission This Father’s Day weekend, take dad to the Reston Towne Center! For two days, there will be a festival packed with food, drinks, live entertainment, carnival rides, a family fun zone, and a wine and dine area! This is a great event with something for the whole family! Manassas Food and Wine Festival June 16, 12-7pm, $10 for non-wine tasters, $20 for tasters Does your dad love music and wine? Now in its 9th year, the Manassas Wine and Jazz Festival taking place on The Manassas Museum lawn! Featuring headline jazz artists, this event is an intimate and relaxing afternoon of tasting and purchasing wines from award-winning Virginia wine artisans, and a great place to spend this Father’s Day. Potomac National Game June 22, 6:35 pm, tickets on website Is your dad a baseball fan? Take him out to a ballgame! This year just after Father’s Day, the Potomac Nationals have a home game that will end with fireworks! This is the perfect gift for Dads that are ball fans everywhere! Father’s Day Putt Putt and Fish-a-Rama Competition at Great Country Farms June 15 & 16, 2013 Open 9am-6pm $8/child & $10/adult All Dad wants for Father’s day is to golf and fish, so you got it! Treat Dad to a fun filled weekend with BBQ, Putt-Putt, and Catch and Release Fishing. Take on other Dad’s as they putt for the championship title and win great prizes! There are no rules on coming early to practice on our challenging course! If that’s not enough, compete in our Fish-a-Rama contest with catch and release fishing for catfish, bass and blue gill from our stocked fishing ponds.
