Experience Mount Vernon By Candlelight - Nov 29th - Dec 22nd!

Have some family-friendly fun and  spread holiday cheer at the home of the Father of Our Nation.  “Mount Vernon by Candlelight” is an enchanting evening of candlelight tours of the estate, fireside caroling, and festive treats. The event takes place after hours on weekends from November 29 through December 22.

• Enjoy popular seasonal traditions including 18th-century music and dancing, and holiday treats near an outdoor bonfire.

  Tour the Museum and Education Center from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Please allow 1 – 1.5 hours for mansion tour and museum exploration.

  Meet and pet Aladdin the Christmas Camel.

The entire estate is decked out for the holidays and Mount Vernon by Candlelight truly is a special event and a great way to adventure out for an evening with the family.
