We were lucky enough to go and see Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, VA. I admit that I am not much of a super hero fan. My children know all the characters (and villains) and their traits, but I personally have a hard time remembering the details from one movie to the next. With this in mind, Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes was one of the most incredible live action and visually stimulating shows that I have ever seen. The show follows a plot where the powerful Wand of Watoomb was stolen by Nebula for Loki to use to become the most powerful, evil leader in the universe. The Marvel Heroes fight back against the bad guys (and girls) to restore goodness. The show is packed with cutting edge special effects and amazing aerial stunts. Some of our favorite moments from the show included:
Age recommendation: We would recommend the program for ages 5 and up, especially Marvel fans. We noticed younger children in the audience, but the show does contain a lot of loud sound effects, music and flashing lights. Although there is a ton of violence (fake fighting,) if your children know and love the Marvel characters, it's probably not scary. Visit www.marveluniverselive.com to view pictures and videos from the show and learn about ticket information. I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events.
